I can't speak for the service because I always order take out but I find everyone who bags the food and takes payment to be very friendly. The food is some of the best I have ever had regardless of the cuisine. My favorite dish is the Chaufa with carne. It's very similar to steak fried rice. The food is always fresh and prepared perfectly.

Waited for an hour for Lomo Saltado, they kept saying it would be out soon but kept sending out plates to people that came after our party. The sad part was I watched all my friends and family finish their ceviche and I lost my appetite. The decor is not at all impressive and the menu needs some updating. Won't come back here, there are other places that have better ambience and service.

Food is delicious. Don't come here for the service just the food!!!! A hidden gem... A must have!

I have been to this restaurant several times, and it's always been empty. I mean desolate, being the only customer in the whole place. Normally, that would take that as a very bad sign and leave, but for some reason I stayed. I'm mostly glad I did. Fresh ceviche with a bright leche de tigre sauce. A bountiful jalea mixto shrimp, squid, fish and more. And a delicious creamy chupe. Service, I won't sugar coat it- pretty awful- but they made everything completely fresh. (I think they even started the rice when we ordered). No ambiance, giant tv playing Peruvian soap operas, lame service, but... Fresh good food. Strange.

Authentic Peruvian fare can be found at this tucked away spot in a strip mall in North Lauderdale. We started with Papa a la Huancaina, which was delicious with the perfect amount of heat; we moved on to Lomo Saltado and Chaufa de Mariscos. Both portions were big enough to have been served family style! Only odd thing was that a 15% gratuity was added automaticallly to our bill, though there were only 2 of us. I typically tip 20% so they shortchanged themselves, but it seems like an odd practice.

Another no-frills Peruvian restaurant I adore! I've been here about 5 times and always walk away with a happy belly, content smile and fat wallet. Their seafood dishes are especially good because their fish is so fresh. I also like their lomo saltado, but Fresca's is still the best (according to my stomach, anyway). Go here for good Peruvian food that's reasonably priced, but wear comfortable clothing because your belly will expand and your clothes will have that heavy food smell for days... SO worth it, though!
